About The Position

The Surveillance Department is responsible for observing and reporting activity viewed through the CCTV camera system and live casino observation. This department performs detailed observations, monitors the integrity of casino activity, and uses various casino software programs to prepare gaming evaluations, procedural audits, and concise reports.

Requirements

  • Must possess trouble shooting skills to include but not limited to: networks, cameras, servers, raids, alarms, workstations, & MS Windows.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, be able to work independently and be able to work together as a team.
  • Must possess programming knowledge in analog and digital CCTV system set up.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and willing to work on call depending on business demands, emergency response and holidays.
  • Experience in low voltage electronics, knowledge of computer/digital recording systems, CCTV installation and maintenance are required.
  • A valid Nevada Gaming License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
  • A valid Nevada Driver's License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
  • OSHA Safety Certifications, Scissor/Boom Lift Certifications and System certifications are also required and will be provided by the company.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years prior computer networking and electronic repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, organization and upkeep of all CCTV systems/equipment to include but not limited to: (cameras, monitors, alarms, CCTV switches, digital encoders, servers, raids, network switches, DVRs, wiring, tech centers, satellite locations (including off property), workstations, VMS programming, software updates, firmware updates, virtual machine management and execution, RAID management, Windows Operating System management and Point of Sale management.
  • Must be knowledgeable in networking infrastructure and programming to include but not limited to; network switches, remote location infrastructure, Xtreme topology and operating, Basic TCP/IP, Single/Multimode fiber, Cat 5/6 cabling and Basic Network Troubleshooting.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the use of test meters, solder irons, hand tools, man lifts, two-way radios, and power tools.
  • Must possess basic trouble shooting skills to include but not limited to: (networks, cameras, servers, raids, alarms, workstations, MS Windows), ability to read and understand blueprints, able to follow instructions, communicate effectively, be able to work independently and be able to work together as a team.
  • Required to adhere to the continuing training, education, and development policy(ies) for the division.
