About The Position

The Tech Support Admin Associate position at Advocate Trinity Hospital involves ensuring the Health Information Technology (HIT) environment is functioning optimally and meeting end-user needs. The role includes providing end-user support, training on new device capabilities, and managing technology problems and service requests in accordance with service level objectives. The associate will also contribute to Endpoint Fleet Technology Management, ensuring compliance with HIT standards, and participate in various projects related to technology implementation and upgrades. The position requires 24/7 on-call support and travel between local sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a complex IT operating environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems accurately.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred background in Healthcare, Customer Service, or Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HIT environment is functioning at an optimal level and end-users' needs are met.
  • Provide end-user support including training on new device capability and basic device operations.
  • Manage tickets including timely acknowledgment and complete resolution documentation.
  • Contribute to Endpoint Fleet Technology Management for Advocate Health Devices.
  • Perform analysis, configuration, installation, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement of hardware and software.
  • Act as a local field resource for multiple projects including acquisitions and new system implementations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor and remediate potential threats.
  • Participate in the design, development, and deployment of emerging technologies initiatives.
  • Assess and develop technical solutions for technology users.
  • Participate in change control activities for environmental and operational changes.
