The Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Technology Intern at Endeavor Air will apply classroom knowledge in a hands-on, professional environment. We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to support our data analytics and integration initiatives. This role offers practical experience in querying databases, building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, and collaborating with internal teams to improve data flows between business applications. The Tech Ops Technology Department at Endeavor Air supports our maintenance operations by managing the applications and systems that power Technical Operations. This includes oversight of the Aircraft Computer Maintenance System (PMI) and its interfaces, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. The team also maintains technical manuals and data for aircraft, engines, and components, and oversees the technical documentation change request process to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.

  • Support Data Querying & Extraction
  • Assist in writing and testing basic SQL queries to retrieve data from enterprise databases
  • Help validate data accuracy and troubleshoot issues with query results
  • Dashboard Development
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
  • Learn to translate business questions into visual insights and reporting tools

  • Participate in meetings with internal teams to understand data needs and integration challenges
  • Document requirements and assist in mapping data flows between systems

  • Shadow senior team members in designing data models and integration workflows
  • Help document data sources, transformation logic, and integration points

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field with Junior or Senior credit standing at the time of application submission.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a business environment.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Programming/Developer software preferred.
  • Effective organizational, time management, & multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work full time (32-40 hours/week) during weekdays, with some schedule flexibility, if needed.
  • Ability to work and be based in Minneapolis, MN; relocation assistance is not available.
  • Some travel may be required for the position to perform audits and base visits.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
