Role reports to: Principal Engineer Package Development Location: North America, United States, Pennsylvania, Fort Washington Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Tech Ops Package Development Co-Op provides each student with real-life hands-on experience, coaching and mentoring, networking opportunities, as well as the opportunity to meet people from various schools throughout the country. Multi-functional collaboration provides an opportunity to partner with a variety of people in the organization and develop your leadership, analytical, and project management skills to build a strong career foundation.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering/Science, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related degree
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B or F1 status are not eligible)
  • Availability to work hybrid in Fort Washington, 40 hours per week from June 2026 to December 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required
  • Candidates must be diligent, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks
  • Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills is required
  • Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term
  • Be available to travel to the office. Transportation is the student's responsibility

  • Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is desired

Responsibilities

  • Support package development activities for a broad portfolio of consumer healthcare products including OTC drugs and dietary supplements
  • Create and/or update packaging component and assembly drawings and material specifications
  • Document all packaging design, development, and testing to comply with internal processes and regulatory requirements
  • Support package development activities in Manufacturing Operations including packaging line trials
  • Interact with outside suppliers for packaging component development, evaluation, and testing
  • Recommend alternatives and solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and emerging requirements
