About The Position

The Tech Ops Engineer II position at RE:CYCLE REVERSE LOGISTICS LLC involves driving discussions among internal operations, technical, and business teams to define system development requirements, technical solutions, and implementation test criteria for new warehouse management system software features. The role includes preparing technical documents like wireframes and threat models to refine and promote ideas/concepts through approvals. The engineer will conduct and document acceptance testing to refine new software features ahead of release, coordinate and prepare end-to-end users for production release, and provide implementation triage support as needed. Additionally, the position requires conducting post-launch evaluations to drive adoption and prove results of new features, maintaining program and product documentation as the system grows, and providing regular status updates and documentation to key stakeholders, ranging from in-path users to senior leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Seven years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation may be accepted as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience.
  • Three years of experience in program, project, or product management in warehousing, manufacturing, data center, or reverse logistics environment.
  • Experience using warehouse management and inventory control systems.
  • Up to 25% domestic & international travel may be required.
