About The Position

Come Join the Team! Nuclear Medicine Technician (Med Tech) position This is a per diem position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging this positions operates all nuclear equipment leading to the diagnosis of designated portions of the body as ordered by physician. The technologist then instructs the patient of all nuclear medicine procedures, protocols, as well as preps. The technologist is responsible for proper computer operation and computer knowledge, use of gamma and SPEC T software, and provides the best patient care possible to enhance quality and professionalism in their tasks.

Requirements

• Certification by the California Department of Health Services.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and CRT).
• Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
• Current BLS (CPR) certificate.
• One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.

Nice To Haves

• I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate all nuclear equipment for diagnosis as ordered by physician.
• Instruct patients on nuclear medicine procedures and protocols.
• Prepare patients for nuclear medicine procedures.
• Ensure proper computer operation and knowledge.
