About The Position

Prepares patients for accurate EKG tracings including Holter/Event monitors, prepares patients for stress/nuclear testing, and works closely with nuclear technologist and RN.

Requirements

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to control/diffuse disruptive situations
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure including prioritizing in a crisis
• Knowledge of Data-entry
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Proper telephone etiquette
• Team-player attitude
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Successful completion of Arrythmia/EKG course within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position
• Completion of competency of starting IV's within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position
• Less than one year performing EKGs
