About The Position
Doctors Hospital of Laredo, in Laredo, TX, is a 183-bed acute care facility that offers a range of medical services. You'll feel a difference when you walk in our doors. The position provides assistance to the nurses in the Telemetry units with interpretation of cardiac rythms of patients under the direct supervision of a nurse.
Requirements
- Must have completed a rythm recognition course approved by the facility.
- Medical Assistant, CNA or equivalent education/training
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- EMT (B,I or P)
- Current BLS
- Six (6) months to one (1) year previous acute care experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to the nurses in the Telemetry units with interpretation of cardiac rythms of patients under the direct supervision of a nurse.
