About The Position

Multiply is a fast-growing, well-funded fintech company making homeownership more accessible and affordable. We’re rethinking the incredibly manual process for originating a mortgage from the ground up to leverage AI agents that deliver a better, more cost-effective home financing experience. We have product-market fit + scalable go-to-market and now it’s time to grow our engineering team to serve many more homeowners. As Multiply’s Tech Lead, you will lead a talented team of engineers to build systems, agents, experiences, and teams to help more Americans realize the dream of homeownership.

Requirements

8+ years of engineering experience
Deep technical expertise and track record shipping high-quality software quickly and iteratively
Context on and interest in the latest AI paradigms and approaches
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills, as well as well-honed pragmatism
An attitude that embodies “Today Not Tomorrow” and “Progress Over Perfection”
Experience at fast-paced startups
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Build exceptional products and infrastructure to help clients navigate their path to homeownership and enable Multiply team members to deliver white-glove service
Define our technical strategy to serve our customers and business goals
Work closely with product and design to rethink the largest purchase of our clients’ lives
Continuously improve our execution and process for shipping exceptional products and infrastructure
Grow and develop the engineering team as we scale
