About The Position

Kolomolo is looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who enjoys building, not just overseeing. You’ll take ownership of designing and implementing internal systems, with a strong focus on automation and Amazon-related integrations. The role is ideal for someone who can take loosely defined operational challenges and turn them into clean, working technical solutions. This role is about building those foundations from the ground up creating tools, workflows, and integrations that make operations faster, more reliable, and easier to scale.

Requirements

  • Strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Proven experience building backend systems or automation-focused products
  • Solid understanding of APIs, authentication (OAuth), and event-driven systems (webhooks)
  • Experience with Amazon SP‑API and seller workflows
  • Comfortable working with databases and designing data models
  • Experience deploying systems in cloud or serverless environments
  • Strong development practices around version control, testing, and deployment
  • Experienced in e-commerce systems, ideally within Amazon-focused environments
  • Able to think beyond code and understand business operations
  • Skilled at turning messy processes into structured, efficient workflows
  • Comfortable owning problems end-to-end
  • Fast-moving but committed to high-quality engineering
  • Capable of clear communication with both technical and non-technical teammates

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon Ads API is a plus
  • Experience with tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier is helpful
  • Exposure to AI-driven workflows or LLM integrations is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve internal tools that support core business functions
  • Convert manual processes into efficient, scalable automations
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Amazon systems, including SP‑API
  • Create structured workflows for reporting, catalog management, logistics, and account operations
  • Ensure systems are robust, with proper monitoring, logging, and safeguards
  • Work with internal teams to identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Shape the direction of internal tooling and automation strategy
  • Establish standards for how systems are built, documented, and maintained
