We’re seeking a Tech Lead Manager to lead the engineers in our Core Platform team, ensuring they deliver on business goals while building scalable, high-quality systems that delight our customers. You’ll be responsible for holding engineers accountable, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and growing their skills. The role requires balancing business priorities with architectural integrity, avoiding short-term hacks, and ensuring investments align with long-term goals. You will not be expected to ship code yourself but will guide the team to success through strong management and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should reside in NYC, Seattle or SF. For candidates residing in NYC, we have an office fully equipped with robots near Grand Central station, and we generally ask all NYC based employees to come into the office 3 days per week. For SF or Seattle based candidates, this role will start remote but will likely become hybrid in one of the aforementioned cities in the near future.
