About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Provides the Technical Skills needed for the successful operation of an assigned Entertainment venue, project, or event, to ensure show quality and a positive guest experience. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to assist with the operation of the audio/visual equipment within the assigned venue, project or event. To include operation of equipment for a live show or event. Takes direction for completion of team objectives in assembly of gear and checking equipment from crew chief and/or lead. Responsible for the appropriate instillation, setup/storage, and maintenance of audio/visual equipment. Troubleshoots technical problems as they occur. Accountable for assisting in maintaining venue or event specific inventory of all Technical equipment. Accountable to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures, as defined by the Entertainment Department, governing the safe operation of all technical equipment and pyrotechnic devices within the assigned venue or event. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • One to three years experience within the professional theme park/theater industry in a technical capacity preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
