About The Position

Amazon's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team seeks an innovative, results-oriented Sr. TIPM Electrical Engineer to drive design standards, system performance optimization and strategic initiatives for electrical building systems across Amazon's global corporate office portfolio. This role partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Facilities Management, Design, Sustainability, Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Construction, and Procurement teams to identify and resolve large-impact electrical issues, improve building performance, optimize design requirements, and enhance procurement strategies through data-driven analysis of construction documents and reporting, CMMS work orders and customer-submitted tickets. The ideal candidate combines deep electrical engineering expertise with strong program management capabilities, using trend analysis and pattern recognition to proactively address recurring issues before they impact building operations. They will leverage work order data, customer ticket analytics, and building system performance metrics to prioritize solving high-impact electrical issues occurring across the global portfolio. The GREF Global Engineering team drives continuous improvement for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across Amazon's corporate office portfolio worldwide. We set design and construction standards, develop operations and maintenance guidelines, and shape long-term MEP strategy — balancing innovation, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness at global scale. Our team thrives on diverse expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to deliver resilient, high-performing workplaces.
