About The Position

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Environmental Compliance Technician II. The primary duties include performing basic corrosion prevention, inspection, and maintenance tasks to protect metal surfaces, equipment, and facilities from deterioration. This entry-level role supports corrosion control operations under direct supervision, using established procedures and safety standards to extend the service life of structures and equipment. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Assist in corrosion prevention activities such as cleaning, prepping, priming, coating, and sealing metal surfaces Perform routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, tanks, and structural components for signs of rust, pitting, or other corrosion. Apply protective coatings, paints, sealants, and corrosion inhibitors as directed. Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, repairs, and material usage.

Requirements

  • High S chool/Diploma GED is .
  • Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
  • Working knowledge of safe work practices, including chemical handling and PPE use.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, technical manuals, and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and recordkeeping.
  • A valid state driver’s license is with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
