About The Position

Would you like to be a part of a team that is transforming The Walt Disney Company? Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is building our future. Our Technology Finance team partners and strategizes with Technology teams to implement change , products, platforms and advancements in the direct-to-consumer streaming space. As a Technology Finance intern, you will partner and strategize with the DE&E Technology organization to be part of the change. This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Bristol, CT area from June - August 2026.

Requirements

  • A solid skillset gained through course work in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset combined with ability to work independently
  • Data analytics mindset
  • Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Data Visualization ( i.e. Tableau) and Business Intelligence tools
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Business , Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Available to work full-time ( 40 hours per week) during traditional business hours for the duration of the internship
  • Must provide own housing and transportation in the Bristol, CT area

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, improve, and create financial models to forecast and analyze technology expenses
  • Prepare forecasts, annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP), and variance analysis
  • Track invoices and contractual obligations, reconcile general ledger data, and manage accrual and reclass processes during the financial close; partner with Accounting on actualizing P&Ls
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for various internal stakeholders across Technology and Finance
