About The Position

This unpaid internship opportunity is open to current students and focuses on exploring how technology can assist individuals who are unable to read or write, enabling them to lead independent lives. The work involves surveying existing technology used to support people with visual impairments and investigating if these technologies can be adapted for individuals with cognitive impairments. The fellow may also have the opportunity to prototype and test devices or technologies with the people YAI supports. The internship may qualify for course credit if approved by the student's educational institution.
