About The Position

Opened in 2010, Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed, acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA. Requirements

• 1-year previous experience in a patient care environment is preferred.
• General education level (high school).
• 1 or 2 years post-secondary education program specializing in sonographic cardiovascular procedures.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• Eligible for the ARDMS registry (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
• BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform various procedures within the Cardiovascular US Lab, such as Echocardiography, TEE's, Stress testing, and vascular testing.
• Provide a technologist's impression of the study.
• Notify regarding abnormal studies.
• Ensure accurate billing information.
