About The Position

Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a mid -level associate to its Technology Companies practice in Los Angeles or Santa Monica. This is a true platform role for attorneys who want sustained exposure to venture -backed companies and complex lifecycle work, not a narrow slice of deals. The group advises technology companies from formation through exit and is deeply embedded in the venture ecosystem, representing both early -stage and late -stage companies on their most important transactions.

Requirements

• Mid -level associate with approximately 3 to 6 years of experience
• Background representing technology companies in corporate and transactional matters
• Experience at a comparable law firm
• Strong drafting skills and comfort taking ownership of deal components
• Active bar admission or eligibility to obtain promptly
• Deal sheet required

Responsibilities

• Early and late -stage venture financings
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private and public offerings
• Day -to -day corporate and strategic matters for high -growth companies
• Manage meaningful portions of transactions independently while working closely with partners and senior associates on complex deals.
