About The Position

Valley Hospital Medical Center, located in the heart of Las Vegas, is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology
  • Current ARRT Licensure
  • Non-Radiologic Technologist must have active certification with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as an (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or (RCES) Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist
  • Has or will obtain Nevada State fluorography license
  • Must current BCLS certification
  • Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of two years prior Cath Lab and/or Radiographer experience preferred
  • Current certification in Interventional Angiography preferred
  • ACLS certification is preferred
  • Membership in related professional organization preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assists Cardiologist in performing Diagnostic and interventional procedures
