Requirements

• American Registry of Radiology Technologist.
• Current State of Texas License.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment.
• ACLS completion within 3 months after hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assists Cardiologists/Electrophysiologists as a scrub assistant, including insertion and manipulation of cardiac catheters, diagnostic and interventional procedures, angiogram injections and acquisitions.
• Operation of physiological computer monitoring and imaging equipment.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing Radiographic Skills, including contrast administration according to policy.
• Inventory maintenance.
• Performance Improvement participation.
• Transportation of patients.
