About The Position

Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Spectrum Medical Imaging is currently seeking a PRN MRI Tech Assistant for our outpatient imaging center. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, as-needed hours with availability during evenings (4:00 PM – 8:30 PM) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM) . The MRI Tech Assistant plays a key role in supporting both patients and technologists by ensuring a smooth, safe, and positive imaging experience. Responsibilities include assisting with patient screening and preparation, escorting patients to and from the MRI suite, supporting technologists with patient positioning and transfers, and assisting with patient transport (including wheelchair assistance when needed). This role may also include patient communication such as appointment-related calls. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing excellent patient care. Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
