This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds regarding the proper care and comfort. Duties would include, but are not limited to : A dvising producers on building and equipment specifications, litter management, and farm sanitation. Visiting f arm s to document bird comfort, manage flock and equipment settings, monitor bird health, and provid e remedy when possible. Monitoring feed consumption and ordering if necessary P ulling blood and fat samples as C oordinating chick placements to farms Assisting with catch schedules E nsuring communication among H atchery, F eedmill , and L ivehaul departments regarding their contract farms . E nsuring compliance with the production contract to optimize flock quality and minimize costs . E nsuring adherence to all USDA and other government regulations regarding poultry handling. W orking with the Broiler and Breeder Departments in coordinating weekly chick placements P erforming other responsibilities as the need arises.
