About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to develop skills in electronics maintenance and repair. The Electronics Technician 1 will be trained and mentored by more experienced technicians and will gain hands-on experience in working with electronic systems and equipment.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to understand and communicate verbal and written instructions.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Basic knowledge of electronics and networks.
Must complete FOCUS training upon hire.
Ability to understand district goals and work toward achieving them.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
0-6 months of related experience or training in electronics.
Valid Driver's License required.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety policies and participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
Assist with instrumentation preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Gain a basic understanding of 12V and 24V DC systems, networks, and networking equipment.
Assist with the repair and maintenance of 12V and 24V DC systems.
Gain knowledge of reading network schematics and calibration software.
Maintain eligibility to drive company vehicles and assist other employees as directed.
Participate in all company-provided training programs.
Report unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards immediately.
Perform duties in compliance with customer and company policies and applicable regulations.
Work toward district goals and understand how to meet those objectives.
Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor.
