WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Perform Basic and Advanced Life Support pre-hospital assessment and care. Perform tasks in the pre-hospital setting under the control of the Medical Director. Provide orderly transfer of patient care to receiving facility staff. Assist with the management of the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program. Communicate and act as a liaison between the patient, family physician, and other agencies as required. Responsible for assigned ambulance, equipment, and supplies during a shift, as well as security of all equipment and supplies, including but not limited to scheduled and non-scheduled medications.

Requirements

  • Paramedic
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years Working as a paramedic

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years Driving Experience
  • Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - State Licensing Board
  • Drivers License - Drivers License
  • Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator - Indiana Department of Homeland Security in IN, Illinois Dept of Public Health in IL
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities
