About The Position

Far Out Ice Cream is hiring for the teammate position. This is a customer facing role in which you prepare ice cream and beverages, help customers with ordering, and maintain cleanliness of the store.

Requirements

• One year of fast-paced food service experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Reliable transportation to our XXX location
• 3 month minimum commitment

Responsibilities

• Prepare ice cream and beverages according to Far Out standards and customer requests
• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and answering questions about our menu and offerings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dipping cabinets, toppings bar, and serving area
• Restock supplies and prepare ingredients as needed
• Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Other duties as assigned
