About The Position
The Teamcenter Developer position at Cognizant is a full-time role based in Troy, MI, requiring a strong background in computer science and extensive experience with Teamcenter. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have between 10 to 15 years of total experience specifically in Teamcenter development. This role demands expertise in ITK, RAC, and AWC customization, along with a deep understanding of the Teamcenter Data Model. Candidates should also have experience in Document Management, BOM Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management. Additionally, hands-on experience with Teamcenter-SAP Integration (T4S) is essential, as well as familiarity with developing Workflow Handlers and REST APIs. In this role, the developer will be responsible for the preparation and execution of functional requirements, leading solution design workshops, and managing sprints that include PLM and PIM requirements. The developer will document solution designs and hand off design requirements and proposals to the development team. Rapid prototyping and mockups of solution design options will be part of the responsibilities, along with preparing for validation sessions at the end of each design sprint. Custom development for finalized design elements will be required, as well as conducting change impact analysis and creating both conceptual and technical designs. The developer will also perform technical impact assessments and review finalized Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Technical Specifications for RICEFW reports, integrations, customizations, extensions, forms, and workflows. The role will involve strategy and planning documentation for the development phase, data migration, and integration testing.
