About The Position

SUMMARY : The New England Revolution are seeking a Team Video Analyst for the Revolution- MLS Next Pro team. This role will work with other video staff to aid in video capture, opposition analysis, player scouting, and other soccer-related projects.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience recording soccer training and matches with a camcorder (or drone).
• 0-2 years of experience with different video compressions and export settings.
• Understands video editing workflow (ingestion, editing, exporting).
• Experience with video editing software (Angles, Coach Paint, Wyscout and Hudl/SportsCode).
• Experience playing or coaching soccer ; solid tactical understanding of soccer.
• Frequent travel, night and weekend availability required.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or ability to obtain certification

Nice To Haves

• Experience with programming languages (python, Javascript/JQuery) is a bonus.
• Coaching license(s) preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Data and Video Analytics'' data-based projects with video.
• Record, clip, tag and organize daily training for convenient analysis.
• Work with the coaching staff to develop a video workflow for opposition analysis and team/individual reflection
• Maintain analysis equipment to ensure readiness.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
