About The Position
The Team Trainer plays a crucial role in enhancing the engagement, productivity, and retention of new team members at Whole Foods Market. This position involves organizing and delivering high-quality training tailored to the needs of the team. The Team Trainer collaborates closely with Team Leadership, the Store Trainer, Team Member Services Generalists, and other qualified team members to ensure that new members receive comprehensive training during their initial shifts. The role is pivotal in supporting the timely completion of New Member Connections and facilitating various training programs, including Operational Learning Pathways, Compliance, Occupational Safety, Food Safety, Product Knowledge, and Customer Service. As a role model, the Team Trainer is expected to maintain a positive image and provide exceptional customer service, embodying the values of Whole Foods Market. In addition to training responsibilities, the Team Trainer is tasked with ensuring that all training programs are effectively delivered and completed within set deadlines. This includes coordinating with Team Leaders and the Store Trainer to schedule training sessions for new members and regularly communicating progress towards training completion. The Team Trainer also facilitates team-specific operational training and attends scheduled Team Trainer meetings to stay updated on training initiatives. A strong emphasis is placed on food safety, sanitation procedures, and occupational safety, with the Team Trainer responsible for training all team members on customer service standards and product knowledge. The role requires meticulous organization and record-keeping, utilizing Whole Foods Market's learning systems to track training progress and maintain accurate records. Overall, the Team Trainer is essential in fostering a culture of learning and development within the team, ensuring that all members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to the store's success.
