The Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the store during overnight shifts when a more senior level manager is not present. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient productivity and quality execution of store operations. The Team Supervisor will make appropriate recommendations to the store management team regarding any store concerns or opportunities for improvement. Additionally, this position may assist the management team with managing the fuel offer, ensuring that all aspects of the store run smoothly and effectively during the overnight hours. In this role, the Team Supervisor will ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered consistently. This includes responding to and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner, as well as soliciting customer feedback to enhance service quality. The Supervisor will facilitate the seamless execution of operations between associates, customers, and their orders, ensuring overall effectiveness in food service and beverage delivery. The Team Supervisor is also responsible for enforcing established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and standards. They must demonstrate knowledge of Wawa's Crisis Management procedures when necessary. Providing direction, motivation, and coaching for associates during the shift is a key responsibility, as is preparing and maintaining stock levels for all appropriate food service items by day part. The Supervisor will communicate opportunities for growth within the food service and beverage area to the Food and Beverage Manager and recognize associates for their accomplishments. Additionally, the Team Supervisor will enforce Wawa's cash handling and accountability processes, perform manager functions on the register, and administer the check-in of external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures. A working knowledge of store equipment is essential, as is ensuring that facility and store conditions meet established standards.
