About The Position
As a Team Member at Schlotzsky's, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality made-to-order foods while ensuring a clean and healthy eating environment for our guests. This position empowers associates to work in various stations within the restaurant, emphasizing the importance of teamwork. Each team member is expected to accept assignments and follow leadership direction to contribute to the overall success of the team on a daily basis. You will be trained to handle multiple responsibilities, which may include food preparation, production, service, and cash handling. The role requires a commitment to maintaining company standards and providing an exceptional guest experience at all times. In this position, you will be responsible for following established cash handling procedures, reporting to work on time for each scheduled shift, and adhering to uniform and grooming standards. It is essential to become familiar with and comply with all company policies and procedures. A positive attitude is crucial, as smiling and fostering a welcoming environment for guests and coworkers is a key part of the job. You will also be expected to follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment. The physical demands of the job include lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds, lifting heavy trash bags, standing and walking throughout your shift, and performing repetitive motions, including slicing with a sharp knife. You will need to handle hot food safely and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
