About The Position
As a CAVA Team member, you are the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience. Your responsibilities include greeting guests with genuine enthusiasm, educating them about our vibrant menu options, and customizing their meals to suit their preferences. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized environment in the serving line, dining room, and restrooms, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of safety and sanitation. Following recipes and procedures is essential to maintain food quality and consistency, and you will also be responsible for restocking stations and keeping them tidy. Your role is not just about serving food; it’s about delivering a unique and delightful experience to each guest, making them feel valued and welcomed every time they visit. In addition to these responsibilities, you may be required to assist with deliveries and perform any additional duties assigned by management. This position offers the opportunity for cross-training across various roles in the restaurant, promoting rapid growth and development within the company. You will need to be physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining constant communication with your team members. The work environment can vary, requiring you to adapt to different temperatures and conditions, including working near open flames and in tight spaces.
