About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as Team Members at Pagoda Asian Grill by P.F. Chang’s. Team Members will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional Guest service and ensuring the overall success of our restaurant. Their primary goal is to create a memorable dining experience for our Guests through the following responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Food service experience is a plus but not required. We provide training!
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for periods of four to ten hours in length each shift.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, balance and transport various objects weighing up to 30 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
  • Ability to learn proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
  • Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable.
  • Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.
  • Ability to wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils, and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, assist with orders, and provide recommendations.
  • Suggest additional menu items to enhance their dining experience.
  • Food Preparation: Chop, slice, and dice ingredients, ensuring high quality.
  • Prepare and assemble food following standardized recipes.
  • Grill, wok, or prepare various menu items according to established recipes.
  • Ensure prompt, quality preparation and presentation of orders.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks and report safety concerns.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and electronic payments, maintain the cash register, and reconcile cash drawers.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations and a quality guest experience.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work area, regularly cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils.
