About The Position

The Team Member (TM) role is responsible for supporting all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes within the store. This position helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes adhere to documented company standards, which are designed to drive sales. The role requires a willingness to engage in vigorous physical activities such as lifting, carrying, moving around the warehouse-format store, and stocking.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times.
• The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.
• Flexible and creative with the ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
• Contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience.
• Processes freight, sorts, stocks products in designated areas, all store merchandising guidelines.
• Performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.
• Completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
• All other duties based on business need.
