About The Position

This Part-Time Team Member position is accountable for achieving key performance indicators related to safe vehicle preparation and loading, as well as the completion of daily operational tasks. The role encompasses a variety of duties including greeting guests, safely guiding vehicles into the car wash tunnel, performing pre-wash preparations and safety inspections, and making adjustments to car wash equipment. Customer service is a key component, involving engaging with guests, informing them about wash packages and memberships, and resolving conflicts. The Team Member is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility, participating in opening and closing procedures, and training new team members. The role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, physical exertion such as lifting up to 50 lbs, and being on your feet for the entire shift.

Requirements

  • Willing to work in all weather conditions (cold, hot, wet, rain, snow)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to be on your feet 100% of the day and outside
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions
  • Attend all mandatory team meetings and cleaning

Responsibilities

  • Be knowledgeable on property safety and layouts
  • Be knowledgeable of what not to wash
  • Be knowledgeable of tunnel equipment
  • Greet guest as they approach the car wash tunnel
  • Safely guide and load each vehicle per size
  • Use bug prep gun to properly prepare vehicles for wash process
  • Remove mud in wheel wells when appropriate
  • Perform safety inspection of vehicles before wash
  • Make key adjustments to car wash equipment
  • Be knowledgeable on E-Stop Locations
  • Handle tunnel incidents effectively and safely
  • Be responsible for vacuum service process
  • Participate in the nightly close down checklist
  • Engage with each guest using the 4 Steps of Service
  • Be knowledgeable on 3 Single Wash packages
  • Inform all retail guests about Memberships
  • Be able to present our Difference
  • Train new Team Members on approved training modules
  • Aid in member visit success rate, including License Plate Recognition/RFID sticker reads
  • Communicate key vehicle information and equipment retracts to crew
  • Observe the vacuum area for guest satisfaction
  • Be knowledgeable on membership management
  • Be fluent in the LEAP Conflict Resolution process
  • Complete daily shift report to document shift performance
  • Maintain a clean, organized car wash facility
  • Learn how to safely open and close the car wash with leadership
  • Safely use ladders and engage e-stop while cleaning
  • Learn backroom safety and equipment knowledge
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
  • Follow Champion safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals
  • Assist in cleaning the facility which includes the equipment, walls, trench, vacuums, trashcans, and lot
  • Perform landscaping, weed control and lot maintenance
  • Perform any other duties directed by leadership
