Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Food Preparation: Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards. Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling. Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes. Maintain quality and presentation of food items. Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments). Accurately handle cash and provide correct change. Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting. Store Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen. Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff. Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Assist with training new team members as needed. Support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently. Stocking and Inventory: Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management. Ensure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety. Opening and Closing Duties (if applicable): Help with opening and closing the store, which may include setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
