About The Position

Caring Transitions of Hoschton and Hartwell GA is a locally-owned business with a national reach dedicated to helping seniors and families navigate stress-free relocations, downsizing, and online estate sales via our CTBids platform. We’re seeking compassionate Part-Time Team Members to join our team in Braselton, Hoschton, Commerce and surrounding NE Georgia areas. If you’re looking for meaningful, flexible, hands-on work, we’d love to connect! You deliver excellent customer service, while safely and efficiently helping clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate through sorting and organizing, packing, setting up online estate sales, donating, or disposing for complete cleanout. Every day is different. You truly make a difference in the lives of our clients every single day. We offer flexibility and part-time work with no required or guaranteed hours. Perfect for parents with school-aged kids, college students, retirees, and for anyone with a busy schedule who wants to make a difference for others.

Requirements

  • Compassion and respect for clients and their families
  • Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency
  • Ability to complete tasks and work in fast paced, changing environments
  • Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments. We provide work gloves, masks if needed, etc.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, carry up to 25lbs
  • Punctual and attentive to detail
  • Have consistently reliable transportation and a smart phone for scheduling, time keeping and executing general project duties.
  • 18 years or older with a valid Driver's License and clear driving history and able to pass basic background check.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
  • Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
  • Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal and clean-out.
  • Use hand-held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
  • Sort, organize, give descriptions and handle items for resale.
  • Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
  • Hang items at or above 4 feet, pack/unpack and label boxes, carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to/from vehicles, within a home or outbuilding.
  • Follow best practices, health and safety requirements and company guidelines.
