About The Position

The Team Member (TM) role supports all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes and helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes are held to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The TM's responsibilities require enthusiasm for vigorous lifting, carrying, moving around the warehouse-format store, and stocking.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
  • Strong attention to detail regarding standards, processes, marketing, etc.
  • Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.
  • Flexible and creative with the ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive attitude and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Execute all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Process freight, sort, and stock products in designated areas according to store merchandising guidelines.
  • Perform store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.
  • Complete the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Actively impact and participate in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention to ensure effective and profitable store operation.
  • Perform all other duties based on business need.
