About The Position

As a Team Member, you'll work with each potential client to gain an understanding of their background, their goals, and what motivates them through their health journey. With that understanding, you'll build trust and work to identify solutions that help each customer realize a healthier life. Team members are passionate individuals who seek to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for day-to-day tasks, welcoming guests and members to the gym, selling memberships and training services, and helping keep the facility clean. This role requires a considerable amount of self-motivation, leadership skills, the ability to collaborate and communicate, and the ability to influence others in a positive way.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Friendly, outgoing, and warm
• Genuine and honest
• Available to work flexible hours [mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends]
• Technologically savvy
• Self-motivated
• Good at managing time and schedules

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience is not required, but highly recommended
• Experience in the fitness industry is not required, but great communication and soft skills are.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to membership and training sales by assisting with the qualification and conversion of leads to members, under the guidance of the team lead.
• Share your enthusiasm for the gym with others by participating in community outreach efforts and supporting marketing campaigns developed by the corporate team.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and engaging environment for members and guests, contributing to a supportive team atmosphere.
• Help with day-to-day club operations as needed, including tasks like running reports and maintaining cleanliness.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming environment by providing excellent customer service and enhancing the experience for members and guests.
