About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish comprehension is helpful.
• Fundamental reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills are required.
• Must have access to adequate transportation and complete the administrative driving requirement.
• May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to operate/access equipment at standard heights while walking or standing during the entire shift.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, engage, and interact with guests and other Team Members; anticipate and exceed guests' needs.
• Engage guests in the dining room through table visits.
• Bus dining room area during peak volume periods.
• Ring orders accurately using the point of sale system.
• Receive cash and credit card payments and issue receipts or change due to guests; responsible for overages and shortages, accuracy, and security.
• Address guest needs and concerns related to cash handling and order preparation.
• Create guest orders as requested and ensure the accuracy of each order.
• Suggest appropriate flavor combinations and menu complements to enhance the guest experience.
• Pay careful attention to the presentation of food.
• Frequently clean the service line, restrooms, equipment, and dining area to maintain overall restaurant cleanliness.
• Prepare, create, and maintain food according to specifications using approved recipes, proper portioning, and food prep logs/tools.
• Replenish food in serving stations and holding areas appropriately.
