Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.
Ability to read and understand job instructions.
Pass pre-employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate simple percentages.
Be able to add and subtract decimal values.
Basic Math test will be required.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metallic parts.
Operates machinery/process in assigned area.
Work cross functionally between machines and areas.
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
Assists in troubleshooting production problems.
Initiates and/or support process improvements and corresponding documentation.
Trains other team members in assigned operations as needed, working in a team environment.
Follow Work Instructions for each step of the process to meet acceptable production standards during and after training completed.
Maintain hourly/daily activity records supporting quality production.
Assure compliance to all safety, environmental and health standards, procedures, and practices
Other duties, as directed.
