About The Position

This team member specializes in work pertaining to team member recruitment, selection and retention, team member incentives, classification and compensation, and provides support in the strategic use of human resources.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A strong combination of written and verbal communication skills to write, read, and comprehend written correspondence, concurrent with the ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the organization is required.
  • Experience with all functions of a professional office, involving clerical and administrative performance in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required.
  • Strong computer skills, concurrent with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and online accounting systems is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of three (3) years of human resources experience is preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains up-to date employment records on all team members, including data entry within electronic systems.
  • Performs duties pertaining to team member relations including record keeping of work assignments and staffing changes, notifying appropriate parties of changes, and continuous updating of job descriptions as needed.
  • Prepares employment reports for internal and external distribution.
  • Provides support and assistance with the recruitment and selection functions of the department including the pre-screening of candidates by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and making recommendations to supervisory and managerial team members to ensure that the correct candidates are matched with the best opportunities.
  • Maintains records of job openings and applications received in accordance with applicable law.
  • Posts job openings internally and places outside job notices with newspapers and employment services as directed.
  • Assists in conducting training programs, seminars, and conferences for all team members. Administers the Resort & Casino’s performance management program, including the distribution, tracking, and finalization of team member performance evaluations, and the notification to payroll of any rate changes.
  • Administers team member wardrobe distribution and maintains adequate inventory levels.
  • Responsible for assisting with updates on job descriptions.
  • Assists in the coordination of team member reward events as provided through the Guests’ FIRST program.
  • Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino.
  • Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win- River Resort & Casino’s guest service program. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Team Member Relations.
