Team Member (New Mexico)

About the position

As a Taco Bell Team Member at Desert De Oro Foods, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, handling payments, preparing food and drinks, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction and food safety, with a pay scale of $12.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Own your Zone responsibilities under people, customer, and service are completed
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance
• Demonstrate that customer needs are the highest priority
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations
• Greet customers with a smile and be polite and pleasant when speaking with them
• Work with management and fellow employees to serve customers with a sense of urgency
• Communicate with customers, teammates, and managers in a positive manner
• Cooperate with peers and help others when they need assistance
• Work well with teammates and accept coaching from the management team
• Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers
• Understand posted work schedule and report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks
• Provide appropriate notice when unable to be at work
• Understand and use approved time-keeping system, including accurately recording all hours worked
• Take action without being told and maintain a high activity level

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Able to do basic business math
• Able to stock shelves and coolers
• Able to clean the parking lot and surrounding grounds
• Able to sweep and mop floors
• Able to lift and carry trash containers and place them in an outside bin
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 90% of shift time
