About The Position

Summary of Functions: Maintains the Team Member Dining Room (TMDR) kitchen work areas, dining room equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Ashes pots, pans, and trays. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and racks. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Requisition cleaning supplies as needed. Cleans and organizes banquet items for set up such as chaffers, plates and utensils. Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record. May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings. This job description does not list all the duties of this position. You may be instructed by management to perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit
  • Washington State Food Handlers Card - must obtain within 14 days of start date.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
