About The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Team Members at Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookies. As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests in a fast-paced working environment. If you have a passion for the dessert industry and enjoy working in a dynamic setting, we want to hear from you! Your responsibilities will include completing customer orders with accuracy and consistency, cleaning kitchen equipment and tools, and operating the oven to ensure proper baking of products. You will also assist in maintaining inventory and cleanliness in the ice cream and cookie serving area, decorate cookie cakes with glazes, icings, and edible toppings, and shape dough for the preparation of Cookie Cakes. Additionally, you will prepare custom-made desserts based on customers' preferences, such as cookie cakes, ice cream cups, and cones, while adhering to food safety practices. In this role, you will utilize your excellent time-management skills and electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS systems, to maintain clean and tidy checkout areas. You will collect payments, whether in cash or credit, and provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Collaboration with team members is essential to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
