Caring Transitions of Canton and Norwood, Massachusetts—part time, hourly About the Business We are a new, small business performing relocation, decluttering, down-sizing, and estate sale services serving towns South of Boston in the Neponset River region. We focus on reducing the stresses of relocation for senior citizens in our communities (although we provide services to everyone). About the Job We are looking for capable team members who want part-time work with a flexible schedule. This can be active retirees, parents with school-aged children, students, veterans—anyone looking for rewarding part-time flexible work. Hours and assignments can vary depending on the number of jobs and clients. We work in people's homes, so a reliable vehicle is a requirement. We also conduct background checks. All supplies are provided.

Responsibilities

As part of a team, organize, pack, or dispose of household possessions according to clients’ needs or preferences.
Support new living arrangements by unpacking and staging residences.
Be courteous and respectful of clients and their possessions throughout the transition.
While we are not a moving company, some lifting and light moving occurs while on the job.
Our estate sale services include staging items for sale with photographs and descriptions for online auctions or in-person, on-site sales.
Assist customers with the pick-up of items or ship items using our shipping service.
