About The Position

As a Team Manager at Panera, you are integral to the success of your bakery-cafe, handling a wide range of responsibilities to ensure both customers and associates have a great experience. This role focuses on making every shift exceptional by developing staff, managing team performance, and fostering a warm, inclusive, and authentic Panera team culture. Team Managers report directly to the General Manager or Operating Partner and oversee specific operational areas within the bakery-cafe, such as food cost management, drive-thru, delivery, or catering operations. The position is for individuals who are warm, inclusive, trustworthy, and capable of developing people, thrive in the hospitality industry's fast-paced environment, and enjoy leading an energized team.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to run great shifts
  • ServSafe certification (or able to pass)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must submit to a background check

  • 1+ year(s) of restaurant management experience preferred

  • Hire and onboard new associates and provide ongoing training and development, including constructive feedback, as needed.
