About the job… The Team Manager, Warehouse drives customer order execution, according to agreed plan and in line with our priorities: safety, quality, delivery, and cost. It includes ownership of inventory management functions and material handling functions. This is an onsite position located in Richmond, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree mandatory in Supply Chain, Industrial engineering, Operations management, Logistics, or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager in warehouse/inventory environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required (EX: pivot tables, lookup functions, complex IF/SUM/COUNT, text/data/date handling, etc)
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP system(s) required, D365 experience preferred.
  • Managerial experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Process driven.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with parameter and system setup/configuration preferred.
  • Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor cycle count program.
  • Coordinate activities to handle excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
  • Physical warehouse layout.
  • Determining stocking levels, replenishment plans, etc.
  • Process owner for flow of materials between primary and external warehouses.
  • Execute and monitor parts picking/kitting/staging for production.
  • Oversee material flow in/out of the primary warehouse.
  • Partner with Production, EHS, and stakeholders to drive safe work practices, ensure compliance, and address safety behaviours through coaching, performance management, and corrective actions.
  • Performance reviews/development.
  • Coaching.
  • Timesheet approval, vacation schedule management, shift scheduling.
  • Progressive disciplinary action.
  • Conducting interviews.
