As an SMB Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on closing pivotal deals in high-growth accounts. This role is crucial in driving our platform forward, as content management is at the heart of how organizations operate. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of SMB Account Executives, ensuring they are equipped to succeed in their roles. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing their careers within the Box Sales organization, fostering a culture of growth and achievement. In this position, you will actively participate in customer engagements, including onsite meetings and calls, providing the necessary support to your team in closing deals. You will also be responsible for reporting on sales metrics and forecasts to senior sales management, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals. Motivating your team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship will be a key aspect of your role, as you strive to create a high-performing sales environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of closing sales experience, with a preference for those who have at least 1 year of experience managing, hiring, and training Account Executives. Experience in selling across multiple segments, including SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise, is also preferred. Excellent communication, business acumen, organizational, and time management skills are essential for success in this role. You should have a proven track record in SaaS sales or the ability to quickly learn new technologies, as you will be at the forefront of transforming how the world works together through Box's innovative solutions.
