To learn more, visit www.sealedair.com. The Maintenance GML is the primary contact between maintenance craft and the TPLs. The Maintenance GML will ensure timely completion of unscheduled maintenance events, prepare daily shift status reports, ensure the timely completion of shift preventive maintenance activities (backlog), prepare shift manning schedules to include assigning overtime and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • This position is available to employees currently assigned to Production Maintenance.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be well organized, and be a team player.
  • Computer knowledge (SAP, Excel, Word)
  • Good oral and written skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Good interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Formal Training in Maintenance (Military, Trade School or College) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing unscheduled and scheduled maintenance activities
  • Prepare daily shift status reports
  • Monitor maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of unscheduled maintenance events
  • Ensure the timely completion shift preventive maintenance activities (backlog)
  • Assist in equipment failure root cause analysis and corrective action identification
  • Prepare shift manning schedules and schedule overtime
  • Audit SAP Work Orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify time card accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate employee issues that require attention to management (Safety, Quality, Attendance, etc.)
  • Assist in communicating and coordinating of training to include Single Point Lesson development
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
  • Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and reports any incident to his/her supervisor.
  • Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training
  • Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team
