Reporting to the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager you will help to lead the store team to provide a shopping experience that exceeds our customers’ expectations and makes a difference in the local community. As Team Leader you will: • Alongside the Assistant Manager and/or Store Manager - leading the store team to follow store policies, standards and practices. • Taking responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders (includes keyholder responsibility). • Be a positive role model to the team and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork and Integrity. • Train, manage the workload and support your team, whilst being hands on in store - ensuring you work together to achieve the right resources in the right place at the right time to deliver the best customer experience. • Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance which includes understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities. • Alongside the store team, actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community. • You may be required to cover the Post Office when required as part of this role.
